Our next Philly Crafted: Tech Showcase is set to kick off on February 17th at 6pm in our Cira Centre headquarters (right next to 30th Street Station). Be sure to RSVP and stop by a few minutes early for snacks, drinks, and networking opportunities!
Philly Crafted: Tech Showcase is a series of events that put local innovators’ tech projects front and center: from mobile apps and desktop software, to UI and graphic design, to web developing and more. The goal? Learning new ways to use technology, connecting with like-minded people, getting constructive feedback, and having fun doing it.
Our February presentations feature Amanda Delcore, an environmental consultant who used open-source hardware licensing to provide the materials and design files for a customizable, resilient headlamp, University of Pennsylvania professors Orkan Telhan and Yasmin Kafai, who will be showcasing their projects Connected Messages, Ecrafting, and Cirkits, which bring together craft design and collective making and learning, and 50onRed’s own Steve Dorazio who has created the Andorid app Draft Tracker Pro that allows users to track and manage all of their fantasy football drafts across leagues.
Hope to see you there!
