50onRed is passionate about giving back. This year, we used paid volunteer days to clean up Schuylkill Banks and feed our fellow Philadelphians at Broad Street Ministry. Even though we love to hit the streets with our teammates for a day of community service, we’re equally excited about our annual #50Gives drive — an opportunity to give back from our offices right here at The Cira Center.

The Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia needed educational crafts, so we rose to the occasion and collected coloring books, crayons, Play-Doh, Legos and other supplies to donate. CHOP’s Department of Child Life, Education and Creative Arts Therapy uses these items to minimize stress and help families cope positively with their healthcare experience, especially during the holidays and birthdays.

We put a bin in our living room and watched it overflow with goodies for CHOP. By the time our drive came to an end, the educational crafts we collected nearly filled a giant red bin at the hospital. In addition to our toys, 50onRed made another donation to CHOP matching the value of our gifts!

Interested in joining CHOP to restore hope for these children and their families? There are plenty of ways to get involved. Whether you choose to make a one-time or recurring donation, every little bit makes a difference. You can shop to give, or you can volunteer your time. If you would like to make a donation this holiday, here is how to get started!

From everyone here at 50onRed, we wish you a wonderful holiday and a happy and healthy New Year!
